Welcome to Prairie Patient Transfer Services. By using our website and booking our non-emergency medical transportation services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking or using any of our services.
1. Service Eligibility
Our services are intended for non-emergency medical transportation. We do not provide emergency ambulance services. Clients must be stable and suitable for non-urgent transfer by wheelchair or stretcher.
2. Booking and Confirmation
- All bookings must be made in advance via phone or our online form.
- A booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation call from our dispatch team.
- It is your responsibility to provide accurate information at the time of booking, including medical needs, pickup/drop-off details, and appointment times.
3. Cancellations and No-Shows
- We request at least 2 hours’ notice for cancellations.
- Late cancellations or failure to notify may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- No-show appointments may result in full service charges being applied.
4. Payment Terms
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, or cash at the time of pickup.
- All payments must be completed prior to or upon service delivery unless other arrangements have been made.
- Account holders will be billed according to agreed terms.
5. Use of Wheelchairs or Stretchers
- Patients may use their own mobility equipment or request to use ours at no additional cost.
- All equipment provided by Prairie Patient Transfer Services is regularly maintained and sanitized.
6. Liability Disclaimer
- While we take every precaution to ensure a safe and secure transfer, Prairie Patient Transfer Services is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., traffic, weather, or facility-related delays).
- We are not responsible for any pre-existing medical conditions or deterioration that occurs outside the scope of our services.
7. Medical Support
- Our services are non-emergency. In the event of a medical emergency during transport, our staff will contact emergency services immediately.
- Some staff members are trained in basic medical support but are not a substitute for ambulance or emergency medical services.
8. Passenger Conduct
- Clients and accompanying persons are expected to behave respectfully toward staff.
- Aggressive or inappropriate behavior may result in service refusal.
9. Privacy and Confidentiality
We handle all personal and medical information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.
10. Modifications
Prairie Patient Transfer Services reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective once posted on our website.
